By accessing our Site, placing an order, or engaging with our custom assembly or delivery services, you ("the Customer") agree to be legally bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them thoroughly before completing a purchase.

🏭 1. Handcrafted & Made-to-Order Production Frameworks

1.1 Bespoke Characterization
Every upholstered bed frame, storage ottoman base, deep divan, and statement headboard purchased from Restivo Beds is a custom, made-to-order item. Production begins immediately following your payment authorization and the formal booking of your slot within our active UK workshop calendar.

1.2 Dimension & Measurement Tolerances
Because our products are individually padded, lined, and upholstered by hand, all final dimensions are subject to a standard industry tolerance of +/- 2cm. It is the Customer's absolute responsibility to ensure the requested bed frame sizes align correctly with their intended mattress and room layout before purchase.

1.3 Fabric & Batch Dye Variations
While we maintain stringent quality control, textile manufacturers produce fabrics in unique dye-lot batches. Restivo Beds cannot guarantee a 100% exact color or texture match between free fabric samples dispatched via post and the final upholstered bed ordered weeks later, as slight natural variations in tone are structural characteristics of premium fabrics.

📦 2. Order Adjustments, Cancellations & Cooling-Off Windows

2.1 The 48-Hour Order Window
We provide a strict 48-hour cooling-off window from the exact minute your order confirmation email is issued. Within this 48-hour period, you may modify sizing, exchange fabric selections, or cancel your order entirely for a full, unconditional refund.

2.2 Late Cancellations & Restocking Surcharges
Once the 48-hour window closes, your bespoke items move into active manufacturing, meaning structural timber is precision-cut and premium textiles are processed. Cancellations or major structural changes requested after this point will incur a mandatory 30% restocking and raw material processing fee, which will be deducted from your final cancellation refund.

🚛 3. Premium Two-Man Delivery & Failed Freight Logistical Clauses

3.1 Estimated Production & Transit Lead Times
Our standard build-and-delivery window is 4 to 6 weeks from the date of order lock-in. While we make every structural effort to deliver within this estimated window, unforeseen global freight disruptions or raw textile delays can occur. Time is not of the essence in this contract, and Restivo Beds is not liable for indirect financial losses or booking cancellations caused by minor delivery delays.

3.2 Property Access and Entry Clearance
It is the Customer's strict responsibility to measure all entry paths, stairwells, tight hallways, door frames, and elevator clearances before the delivery date. Our specialized 2-man courier team will attempt to deliver to your room of choice; however, if structural access paths block safe transit, the delivery will be logged as a failure.

3.3 Failed Delivery & Re-routing Charges
If a scheduled delivery fails because the Customer is not at home within their confirmed 3-hour tracking window, or because the item cannot physically fit past entry points, the bed will be securely returned to our regional freight hub. A mandatory £49 failed delivery logistics fee will be securely charged to the Customer to arrange a secondary delivery date.

🛠️ 4. Professional Assembly & Environmental Recycling Upgrades

4.1 Flat-Rate White-Glove Installation
Where the Customer purchases our Assembly Service for £39.99, our in-house installation crew will complete the full build setup within their room of choice. The room space must be fully cleared of old furniture, clean, and structurally ready for assembly before the crew arrives. Our drivers are strictly prohibited from moving existing personal household belongings.

4.2 Eco-Friendly Recycling Declarations
Where Mattress or Bed Recycling is booked for £49.99, our team collects the old furniture on the exact day your new order arrives.

  • All old mattresses must be completely stripped of bedding and entirely dry.
  • All old bed frames must be completely disassembled down to individual components before our arrival.
  • For health and safety reasons, our crew reserves the immediate legal right to reject the collection of heavily soiled, unhygienic, or damp items.

🛡️ 5. Guarantees, Warranties & Statutory Legal Frameworks

5.1 Fully Compliant Extended Guarantee
All qualifying structural frames, timber divan bases, and gas-lift ottoman piston systems are backed by our extended 5-Year Structural Guarantee. In direct alignment with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, any item that suffers a catastrophic structural failure due to faulty workshop materials or manufacturing defects within this window will be repaired or replaced entirely at our expense.

5.2 Mandatory Mattress Maintenance Requirements
To maintain a valid mattress or structural frame warranty, your Restivo mattress must be supported on an adequate foundation. Using our luxury mattresses on an old, bowing slatted base where the open spacing between individual wooden slats exceeds 5cm (2 inches) alters spring distribution and instantly voids all structural warranties.

⚖️ 6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service, along with any separate service contracts we provide you, shall be governed by and interpreted in absolute accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any legal actions or disputes rising from purchases made on this website fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
