Standing 50 inches high, the Kensington Floor Standing Headboard features a 26-inch upper designer section and a 24-inch plain lower section. Its floor-standing construction is designed to sit behind your divan bed, while the padded upholstery adds a comfortable surface for sitting up to read or relax.

Choose from five fabric options: Chenille, Crushed Velvet, Plush Velvet, Linen Turin and Naples. A range of colours is available depending on the selected fabric, helping you coordinate your headboard with your bedroom décor. The Kensington Floor Standing Headboard is available in five standard UK sizes, from Single (3ft) to Super King (6ft).

  • Avoid bleach, harsh chemicals and soaking the fabric
  • Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to preserve colour vibrancy
  • Keep away from radiators and other direct heat sources
Assembly
  • Simple home assembly with fixings and instructions included
  • Two people recommended for safe lifting and fitting
  • Assemble on a soft surface such as a rug to protect the fabric
  • Leave the bolts slightly loose until every part is in place, then tighten fully
  • Check and re-tighten the fixings every few months

What size headboard do I need?
Choose the same size as your bed. Our headboards are made in Single 3ft, Small Double 4ft, Double 4ft6, King 5ft and Super King 6ft widths.
What is the difference between a floor-standing and a bed frame mount headboard?
A floor-standing headboard is a full-height panel that stands on the floor behind the bed and is held in place between the bed and the wall. A bed frame mount headboard sits on two legs that bolt to the back of the bed base.
How tall is the headboard?
Floor-standing headboards are 50 inches (127 cm) tall. Bed frame mount headboards are 30 inches (76 cm) tall above the legs. The Size Guide tab has the full measurements.
Can I choose the fabric and colour?
Yes. Every headboard is made to order in your choice of fabric and colour.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to UK Mainland only. We are unable to deliver to offshore and remote postcodes, including HS, IM, GY, JE, ZE and BT.
How long does delivery take?
Every item is made to order and delivered in 7–10 days.
Can I choose my delivery date?
